Your account settings control your own ClearPolicy profile and sign-in security. These settings are separate from organization settings, which affect your whole team.

Update your profile

1

Open profile settings

Click Settings, then under Account select Profile.
2

Update your details

In Account information, change your name, email address, or preferred language.
3

Save changes

Click Save. If you change your language, ClearPolicy refreshes so the new language appears right away.
If you change your email address, ClearPolicy may ask you to verify the new address before it is fully active.

Change your password

1

Open security settings

Click Settings, then under Account select Security.
2

Enter your current password

In Update password, type your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.
3

Save the new password

Click Save password.

Add a passkey

Passkeys let you sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key instead of a password.
1

Open security settings

Click Settings, then under Account select Security.
2

Add a passkey

In Passkeys, click Add passkey. Name it so you can recognize it later, then complete the prompt from your device or browser.
Signing in with a passkey skips the password step. If you also use two-factor authentication, ClearPolicy does not ask for an authenticator code when you sign in with a passkey.

Enable two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication helps protect your account by asking for a code from an authenticator app when you sign in.
1

Open security settings

Click Settings, then under Account select Security.
2

Start setup

In Two-Factor Authentication, click Enable 2FA.
3

Scan the setup code

Use your authenticator app to scan the QR code, or enter the setup key manually.
4

Save recovery codes

Store your recovery codes somewhere safe. You can use them if you lose access to your authenticator app.
Keep your recovery codes somewhere you can access later. If you lose your authenticator app and your recovery codes, contact support for help getting back into your account.
Organization owners can require team members to use an authenticator app or a passkey. Turn on Require two-factor authentication from Settings, under Organization select Profile, then click Save.
